We are seeking Application Developers in the Internal Information Systems Group of our San Francisco Headquarters as well as our Sunnyvale office. The following is a brief list of responsibilities and requirements:
 

RESPONSIBILITIES
   
  • To be deeply involved in the subtleties of Java-based software development
  • Under the Senior Java Architect, the candidate will experience numerous coding challenges (ranging from the Servlet API to enterprise Javabeans)- the target platform is a "state of the art" J2EE compliant Application Server
  • Must be able to document/test their code.
 

REQUIREMENTS
   
  • Must be comfortable with OO technologies
  • Must have a working knowledge of the following:
    • Java and J2EE technologies
    • Unix (Solaris)
    • Perl5 (or some other shell language)
    • Perlforce (or some other SCM tool)
  • Working knowledge of the following is desirable:
    • Web technologies (HTTP, SSL, and Javascript);
    • Oracle 8;
    • Design patterns and UML;
  • BS in CS/EE or equivalent experience plus 2 years experience in a high-tech environment;
  • Excellent documentation and oral communication skills;
  • Ability to work on concurrent tasks;
  • Ability to work well with a team-positive attitude and highly energetic.
